We teach PSHE based on the use of the Jigsaw PSHE materials. This means that we are sure that we meet statutory requirements. It also fits with the PSHE curriculum taught at Key Stage 3 by our local schools and has been agreed with schools in our local cluster.
We also make sure that we take every opportunity to teach about our own school values of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, COMPASSION, COURAGE and INTEGRITY as well as British Values. We adapt the Jigsaw framework to fit the needs of the school and our community and plan our own EYFS and Year 1 lessons.
