Planning and Assessment
We plan our English lessons using the Sheffield STAT objectives and assessment framework. We are part of the PIXL collaboration of schools which means that we can assess our reading progress and attainment performance against the performance of other schools nationally. We use No More Marking writing assessments so that we can compare our performance in writing to other schools nationally as well as develop teacher knowledge and skills in assessing the quality of writing.
