We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and proficient Teacher to join Whitefriars Primary School. Whitefriars provides primary education in Rushden, Northamptonshire. We became an academy in December 2024 when we joined Tove Learning Trust.  Whitefriars Primary School has 403 pupils on roll with 2 classes in each year group.

 

Tove Learning Trust currently has around 1800 employees spread over fifteen schools and a central team with more growth anticipated in the near future.

 

Key responsibilities

  • class teacher
  • subject leadership (depending on career stage)

The successful candidate will:

  • be a strong committed teacher who can make sure that every child can make good progress across the curriculum
  • have an interest in subject leadership now or in the future
  • have a recognisable qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • be a brilliant teacher who wants the best for their pupils
  • go the extra mile for our pupils and school community
  • be fair and firm
  • have to meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.
  • Enjoy working with children and know how to have fun

 

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a current driver’s licence.  Training and development opportunities will be offered.  All staff are encouraged to study further and the trust will actively support staff to obtain relevant further qualifications where possible.
